Job summary

Kuala Lumpur Sports Medicine Centre is seeking a Junior Hand Therapist to deliver rehabilitation for inpatients and outpatients. You will assess patients, plan and carry out treatment programs to improve physical function, alleviate pain and prevent dysfunction.

The role requires weekend availability and a strong MSK background. Fresh graduates with OT qualifications or diploma holders with relevant experience are invited to apply; APC license or progress toward one is required.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates with a Degree/BSc in Occupational Therapy or diploma—experience considered.
• Ability to interact with patients, employees and third parties.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Sound musculoskeletal background including splinting, manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays when scheduled.
• Malaysian citizen; APC license or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitation to inpatients and outpatients.
• Assess patients and plan treatment programs to maintain or restore function.
• Contribute to pain relief and prevention of dysfunction.
