Job summary

A prestigious hotel group located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dynamic Guest Service Executive. The role involves supervising front desk operations and providing efficient service to guests while adhering to hotel policies. Candidates should hold a diploma in hospitality and have at least one year of experience in a similar position. Proficiency in English and Malay is essential, and a willingness to work shifts is required. Only Malaysian citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for this role.

Job Summary

Guest Service Executive is responsible to overseeing Front Desk operations to provide efficient and professional service to guests and adhering to hotel policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead all service associates in their daily activities to ensure smooth Front Desk operations.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while delivering a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Ensure front desk operations are carried out in line with hotel standards and procedures.
  • Takes ownership in solving guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure guest requests are fulfilled in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of records and documentation related to guest stays and transactions.
  • Ensure billing and guest folios are accurate and complete prior to guest departure.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Tourism/ Hospitality/ Hotel Management.
  • Performing a similar position for at least 1 year.
  • Proficient in oral and written English and Malay; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willing to work shifts.
  • Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
