Job summary

EVERNENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SDN BHD in Miri, Malaysia seeks a diligent housekeeping professional to maintain guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards. You will prepare supplies, manage linen, tidy bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms, and ensure safety with proper PPE and equipment handling.

Responsibilities include restocking amenities, reporting faults, cleaning ceilings, mirrors, floors, and fixtures, and promptly attending guest requests.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cleaning supplies, required tools or machines are in good condition at the start of duty to ensure their safe usage.
• Prepare and restock all cleaning supplies in advance when needed.
• Apply PPE when required, example: hand glove, face mask, ladder, google. Signage to be put on the wet floor and cleaning area.
• Ensure proper handling of all machines. Follows instruction on its operation for safety reasons. Keep machines clean at all times and ensure proper storage when not in use.
• Reports all defects or missing items found in the assigned area to Supervisor.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or property damage.
• Performs the cleaning of mirrors, ceiling, wall, lighting, empty trash bins, floors, inside of washroom and in assigned area.
• Clean and maintain areas of responsibility according to standards and procedures.
• Replenish guest supplies and ensure that guests requests are promptly attended to. Example; amenities.
• Handle guest requests for additional amenities and are promptly attended to.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floor surfaces, paying special attention to all corners, and thoroughly vacuum hard-to-reach areas including under furniture and in corners.
• Dispose trash from rooms and cleans rubbish bins.
• Remove used bed linen and replace it with clean ones.
• Make bed using fresh linen.
• Cleans window as required, cleans mirrors, cleans table and standing lamps in all area of the unit.
• Cleans television screen and surface in the living room, bedrooms and kitchen area.
• Clean kitchen appliances, countertops, and cabinets.
• Scrubs and cleans bathroom tiled floors.
• Clean bathroom vanity counter, basins, bath tub, shower curtains and non-slip mats.
• Disinfects toilet bowls and rims with chemicals to sanitize.
