Job summary

Sunway Hotel Big Box in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee front office and guest services teams, ensuring exceptional service. This full-time role requires managing reservations, check-in/check-out, and guest enquiries while upholding Sunway’s commitment to guest satisfaction.

You’ll monitor occupancy, adjust staffing as needed, analyze performance data, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Proficient in using hotel management software and technology.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the front desk and concierge operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest enquiries.
• Addressing and resolving any guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitoring hotel occupancy and staffing levels, and making adjustments as needed.
• Analysing hotel performance data and making recommendations for process improvements.
• Assisting with staff training and development to enhance the customer experience.
