Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking friendly, energetic retail associates to engage customers, explain attractions, and promote memberships, ensuring a fun and memorable store experience.

You will handle cashier duties, maintain store cleanliness, manage stock, and assist in events and promotions while following SOPs and safety guidelines. Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to promote products and create a positive customer experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, support promotional events, and work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, energetic and engaging customer service by interacting confidently with customers, explaining attractions, encouraging participation, and creating a fun and memorable experience.
• Operate the cashier and POS system accurately while actively promoting memberships, promotions and company products to customers.
• Complete the daily opening checklist before store opening to ensure all attractions, equipment, facilities and operational areas are safe, clean, fully functional and ready for business operations.
• Monitor stock levels of merchandise items and informing superior when restocking is necessary and assist in receiving and storing deliveries. To perform monthly stocktake counting.
• Work closely with team members to create a positive, energetic and customer-focused working environment.
• Comply with all company policies, health and safety standards, promptly report any operational incidents, hazards or equipment malfunctions, and take immediate action in accordance with company procedures.
• Actively participate in promotional events, roadshows, CSR activities and customer engagement programmes by confidently interacting with customers and representing the company brand.
• Follow all company SOPs, operational procedures and daily checklists to ensure consistent service standards.
• Actively participate in training programmes to continuously improve product knowledge, customer service and operational skills.
• To support another store as a helper if required.
• Undertake any other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by top management or from the holding company in Japan, from time to time . This may include tasks beyond the scope of the standard job description to contribute to the overall success of the team and organization.
