Job summary

LOCUS-T is a leading Malaysian digital marketing agency and the country’s largest SEO agency, recognised for 25 years of results. We’re seeking a Web Developer passionate about building, maintaining, and optimising high-performing websites while supporting SEO and client needs.

You will work on WordPress sites, perform technical SEO, and collaborate with designers and stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
1–3 years of web development, technical support, or similar role.
Strong WordPress knowledge including theme structure and functions.php.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

SEO & Technical Support: perform keyword research, technical SEO checks, and on‑page/off‑page implementation; assist SEO audits and troubleshoot issues.
Website & CMS Management: manage WordPress sites, updates, plugin issues, security patches, performance tuning, and maintenance.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and recommend technical improvements.
Customer Support & Growth Opportunities: engage with customers via channels to provide technical support and upsell enhancements.
Quality Control & Knowledge Sharing: perform quality checks, document best practices, and assist across teams.
