Job summary

Talexa Partners Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent Electrical Maintenance Technician for on-site duties in Malaysia. The role covers inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and water systems across the factory environment.

You will monitor utility readings, assist with procurement and inventory of parts, and ensure records are accurately maintained. Occasional night/weekend work may be required to meet urgent maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Technician, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in factory electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair is an advantage.
• Possession of a recognized electrician certificate or relevant electrical qualification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; able to handle common faults and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and water systems within the factory.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards and prevent equipment failures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies such as leaks, power interruptions, and faults.
• Monitor and record meter readings; assist with tracking utility consumption.
• Maintain maintenance and equipment records for proper documentation and follow-up.
• Collaborate with Logistics and Admin teams for maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and renovations.
• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and company requirements.
• Assist with regular factory safety inspections and report hazards promptly.
• Support other facility, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance tasks as needed.
