Job summary

Lesaffre Iberica SA in Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Manager for Baking ingredients APA to drive growth, innovation, and cross-regional execution across markets. You will partner with Marketing to translate insights into concepts and pricing, identify high-potential accounts via pre-sales, and lead technical and cross-functional collaboration with R&D and Baking Center.

This role also coordinates with teams in China for expansion.

Responsibilities

Growth, innovation, and cross-regional execution across markets.
Partner with Marketing to translate consumer/competitor insights into tailored product concepts, value propositions, and pricing strategies for local markets.
Identify and warm up high-potential accounts via pre-sales (technical consults, feasibility, ROI), building a qualified handover pipeline for the sales team.
Provide expert technical sales support to industrial customers and sales teams.
Align Marketing, R&D, and Baking Center on innovation and strategy.
Drive projects with China and other APA teams for business expansion.
Support managers and partners on innovation and cross-border opportunities, co-leading presentations and negotiations.
Monitor sales pipelines, project progress, and team performance.
Ensure compliance across APA production facilities.
Serve as the APA point of contact for global marketing and production teams.
Other relevant tasks to support growth and innovation of baking ingredients.
