HKA Global is seeking a dedicated Accountant for a full-time, on-site role in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, assist with month-end reporting, and support the finance team across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Accounting or studying towards an accounting qualification
• Demonstrable experience in any accounting field/discipline
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages and ERP accounting software
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as role involves liaising with many stakeholders
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Started or willing to pursue a membership towards a recognised accounting body
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask effectively and work to deadlines
• Enthusiasm to grow and develop professionally within the role

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable transactions and employee expense reimbursements across multiple countries
• Support local year-end results
• Process employee expenses
• Preparing journals for month end processing and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconciling sub-contractor invoices and preparing margin analysis
• Assisting the Financial Controller with weekly and monthly reporting
• Supporting the Finance team with the annual audit and ad hoc requests
