About the Role:
As a Group General Manager, you will report to the Group President, Country Head and Directors and will be overseeing all facets of operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and alignment with our organizational vision. You will lead and mentor a diverse team, implementing innovative strategies and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to achieve short and long-term organizational goals.
Oversee the day-to-day operations across multiple departments, ensuring seamless workflows and high standards of service/product delivery.
Manage budgets, analyze financial data, optimize expenses, and report on performance metrics to executive leadership.
Lead the recruitment, training, and development of high-performing employees, fostering a motivational work environment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and business partners.
Identify market trends and growth opportunities, implementing proactive solutions to business challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree; an MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage but not a requirement.
Experience: Proven success in a managerial or senior leadership role (typically 5+ years of progressive experience, specific industry experience is a plus).
Leadership: Strong, dynamic leadership skills with an ability to motivate, mentor, and build effective teams.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Great problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to strategy implementation.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions. Must be willing to travel.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in business software, data analytics tools, and modern collaboration platforms.
