Job summary

Calibre Events Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Group Finance Senior Manager to oversee financial management and control across the group, delivering accurate reporting and strategic insights from Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.

You will lead the Finance & Accounts team, ensure compliance with Malaysian standards, manage intercompany transactions, and support senior leadership with budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• At least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven experience in managing full-set accounts, multiple entities and group consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and taxation.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Finance & Accounts functions across the Group.
• Manage full-set accounts, GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations and closing.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and working capital.
• Analyse performance, costs and variances across entities and projects.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and group consolidation adjustments.
• Ensure invoicing, collections, payments and transactions are timely.
• Manage audits, SST, e-Invoicing and compliance with standards.
• Establish financial policies, internal controls and SOPs.
• Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team for timely reporting.
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions and profitability.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and regulators.
• Drive improvements in accounting systems and processes.
