The Role
We are seeking a commercially aware and data-driven Group Finance Analyst to support our regional finance operations across Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, including our specialized subsidiaries (Sustenyx, Terradian, and Securaze).
Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, you will transform complex financial data into actionable business intelligence. This role goes beyond traditional accounting, offering you the opportunity to provide strategic analysis, management reporting, and insights that directly support executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial planning cycles. Conduct variance analysis to identify key business drivers and build dynamic financial models to support strategic decisions.
Management Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly management reports and interactive financial dashboards. Analyze key metrics including revenue, profit margins, cost structures, cash flow, and business unit performance.
Executive & Board Support: Assist in preparing high-quality financial reporting packages and presentations for the Board of Directors and executive team. Support the evaluation of strategic initiatives and business cases.
Treasury & Cash Flow: Manage weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts. Monitor receivables, payables, and overall liquidity, and assess funding costs to optimize capital efficiency.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate financial workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and reduce manual data entry.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Leadership teams across the region to support comprehensive business performance reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly advantageous.
3 to 6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance, or Business Intelligence.
Experience with multi‑entity or regional financial consolidation is strongly preferred.
Background in B2B services, equipment leasing, or technology financing is a distinct advantage.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, dashboards) is essential.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
