Job summary

Semec Enterprise is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Malaysia team in Subang Jaya. The role focuses on visual presentation and proposal development for playground, fitness and recreational projects. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and the Adobe Creative Cloud is essential, with opportunities to learn Rhino 3D or KeyShot.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Some 3D modelling or rendering experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Graphic Design or related field (required).

• Strong sense of layout, composition, colour and visual communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop design proposals and presentation boards for playground, fitness and recreational projects.
• Create visually engaging layouts, graphics and presentation materials.
• Prepare and revise proposal materials based on feedback.
• Produce graphics, icons, diagrams and other visuals for presentations.
• Assist with colour proposals and material presentation.
• Assist in preparing 3D visuals when required.

We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Malaysia team based in Subang Jaya.

About the Role

The Graphic Designer will primarily support the design team in preparing design proposals, presentation layouts, graphics and other visual materials for playground, fitness and recreational projects.

This role focuses heavily on visual presentation and proposal development, with Adobe Illustrator being one of the key software used on a daily basis.

You may also assist with selected marketing materials, social media graphics and other company design requirements when needed.

Some projects may require basic 3D modelling or rendering work. Candidates with experience in Rhino 3D, KeyShot or similar software will have an advantage. Training and guidance will be provided where required, and candidates should be willing to learn these tools as part of the role.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop design proposals and presentation boards for playground, fitness and recreational projects
• Create clear and visually engaging layouts, graphics, colour schemes and presentation materials
• Prepare and revise proposal materials based on internal, client and consultant feedback
• Produce graphics, icons, diagrams and other visual elements required for presentations
• Assist with colour proposals and material presentation
• Assist in preparing 3D visuals and rendered images when required
• Support selected marketing materials such as social media graphics, project features, brochures and promotional materials
• Maintain organised project and design files
• Coordinate internally with designers and ensure design deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule

Requirements

• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Preferably 1 year of experience in graphic design, proposal design, presentation work or a related field
• Adobe Illustrator
• Generally, all Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong sense of layout, composition, colour and visual communication
• Able to interpret design information and organise it clearly into presentation materials
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
• Willing to learn new software and workflows when required
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Nice to Have

• Experience preparing product or design proposals
• Knowledge of Rhino 3D or other 3D modelling software
• Knowledge of KeyShot or rendering software
• Experience creating social media or marketing materials
