Job summary

HOCK LIAN HIN SDN BHD in Selangor is seeking a creative Content Designer to build visual content for our brand across Instagram, Shopee, and our website. You will shoot and edit photos and videos, design menus, catalogs, and collaterals for livestream collaborations with influencers.

You should be comfortable with design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, CapCut, and Premiere Pro, and you must have a portfolio demonstrating your thinking, not just software mastery.

Qualifications

• diploma/degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• Comfortable with design tools and basic photo/video editing
• Confident in front/behind a camera and able to produce clean content
• Genuinely social media savvy with understanding of trends
• Good time management to meet deadlines
• Able to handle ad hoc tasks in a startup
• Detail-oriented with good design sense
• Portfolio showing thought process is required with application

Responsibilities

• Resizing and adapting layouts across Instagram, Shopee, and website keeping sharp and on-brand
• Shooting and editing photos and videos for product content, Instagram Reels, and Stories
• Designing product menus, catalogues, and collaterals for livestream collaborations with influencers
• Supporting KOL and social media partnerships with visual assets
• Staying current by spotting trends, formats, platform shifts
• Assisting with ad hoc creative requests as they arise
