Job summary

Souqa Fintech Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a creative graphic designer to produce engaging visuals for social media, ads, and corporate materials.

You will develop concepts aligned with branding, deliver illustrations and layouts, and collaborate with Marketing and HR to meet tight deadlines.

Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome; proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator is required, with a keen eye for typography and color.

Qualifications

• SPM/Diploma in Graphic Design or related field required.
• Fresh graduates with strong portfolio welcome.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong drawing and illustration skills.
• Good typography, colour, layout understanding.
• Able to translate ideas into creative visuals.
• Portfolio demonstrating design work is required/preferred.
• Willing to learn new design tools and AI-assisted design tools.

Responsibilities

- Create engaging and professional graphic designs, social media posts, advertisements, posters, banners, brochures, presentations and marketing materials.

- Develop creative visual concepts based on company branding, campaigns and business requirements.

- Create original drawings, illustrations, sketches and visual artwork for digital and print materials.

- Design graphics for social media platforms, websites, promotional campaigns, events and corporate communications.

- Produce creative content for marketing campaigns, events, promotions and company announcements.

- Edit and enhance photos, images and other visual materials when required.

- Ensure all designs follow the company's branding guidelines, visual identity and quality standards.

- Work closely with the Marketing, HR and Management teams to understand design requirements and deliver projects within deadlines.

- Prepare final artwork in appropriate formats for digital publishing and printing.

- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritise work according to business requirements.

- Stay updated with current design trends, social media trends and creative techniques.

- Take initiative in proposing new creative ideas and visual concepts to improve the company's brand presence.

Requirements

• SPM/Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Creative Design or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or other graphic design software.
• Strong drawing and illustration skills are an advantage.
• Able to create original drawings, sketches, characters, illustrations and creative artwork.
• Strong understanding of typography, colour, layout, composition and visual communication.
• Creative, artistic and able to think outside the box.
• Good attention to detail and strong sense of aesthetics.
• Able to understand and translate ideas or instructions into creative visual concepts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Portfolio demonstrating previous graphic design, illustration and creative work is required/preferred
• Knowledge of video editing, animation or motion graphics is an added advantage.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new design tools, technologies and AI-assisted design tools.
