Job summary

PR1MA Malaysia is offering a Graphic Design and Multimedia Internship based on-site in Petaling Jaya. You will support the marketing and communications team by creating visual content for digital and print platforms, including social media graphics, posters, and presentation materials.

You will edit images and videos, ensure brand consistency, and collaborate with teammates to brainstorm concepts and prepare files for production.

Qualifications

• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Basic multimedia abilities, including video editing and motion graphics with Premiere Pro or After Effects.
• Good understanding of visual communication principles, layout, typography, and branding.
• Ability to create content adapted for digital platforms, including social media and websites.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented, able to follow brand guidelines, and receptive to feedback and revisions.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn and contribute to team projects.

Role Description

The Graphic Design and Multimedia Intern role is an on-site internship based in Petaling Jaya. The intern supports the marketing and communications team by creating visual content for digital and print platforms, including social media graphics, infographics, posters, and presentation materials. Daily tasks may include assisting in the development of campaign visuals, editing images and videos, preparing design assets, and ensuring brand consistency across all materials. The intern also collaborates with team members to brainstorm creative concepts, adapt designs based on feedback, and prepare files for production or publication. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world design projects within a mission-driven housing organization.
