Job summary

Omya Malaysia is seeking a Production role to support the Granulation plant operations. You will assist the production manager, operate and monitor the granulation process, and ensure safety, quality and efficiency across shifts.

The role requires 2 years in industrial manufacturing and basic chemistry knowledge, with ability to work weekends and overtime as needed. Applicants should be comfortable with forklifts and warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years industrial/manufacturing experience in a chemical or related field.
• Experience in a maintenance role for a manufacturing or related operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist production manager/executive for Granulation plant’s production and processes.
• Operate, monitor, control and inspect the granulation manufacturing process.
• Supervise packing, forklift drivers and daily stock reporting.
• Maintain QSHE compliance and housekeeping in the plant.
• Conduct routine equipment inspection and assist maintenance when needed.
• Record plant parameters, production output and stock levels.
