Job summary

Intel Corporation in Penang, Malaysia, is hiring a mixed-signal/VLSI design engineer to train, design, and develop the next generation SOC/CPU. The role covers RTL validation, structural design methods, analog IP development, and integration of third-party IPs across PCIe, USB, LPDDR, eMMC, and more.

The position is an Intel Contract Employee with a hybrid work model in Malaysia and supports Android/Windows-based platforms for diverse Intel products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Familiar with UNIX and C programming; CAD tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist design unit owner in RTL model functional validation using CAD tools.
• Define VLSI design methodology and design flows (synthesis, floor planning, PNR, RC extraction, timing).
• Develop Analog IP for SOCs, including PLL/DLL/bandgap and high-speed IO design.
• Integrate third-party IPs and verify signals across power planes and clock domains; work with LPDDR, eMMC, SATA, PCIe, USB, MIPI interfaces in SOC devices.
