Job summary

TotalEnergies EP Sarawak Inc. is seeking a Graduate Geophysicist in Kuala Lumpur to provide geophysical support to asset teams. You will engage in data analysis, seismic interpretation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize field development.

The role emphasizes mapping, modelling, depth conversion, and uncertainty analyses, with opportunities to work within TEPMY projects and gain exposure to regulatory frameworks and industry standards in Malaysia.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology/Geoscience/Earth Sciences with CGPA 3.5 or higher.
Basic understanding of seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation; familiarity with Petrel/Sismage is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide geophysical support to TEPMY asset teams in data analysis and seismic interpretation.
Contribute to mapping and modelling, including depth conversion and uncertainty analysis.
Support field operations during drilling and planning; monitor seismic QC.
Prepare technical reports and maintain records of interpretations.
Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers and petrophysicists for integrated subsurface understanding.
