Job summary

Forest City Hotel is seeking a dedicated golf caddy to assist golfers on the course, carry equipment, and assist with club selection and distance estimation. The role requires familiarity with course layouts, maintaining pace of play, and upholding golf etiquette and safety.

You will also help maintain course cleanliness, prep carts, and assist players after rounds, all while presenting a neat appearance and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Accompany golfers on the course and assist throughout the game.
• Carry and safeguard the player's golf equipment.
• Assist in club selection, distance estimation, and ball position confirmation.
• Be familiar with course layout and provide information on green conditions.
• Help maintain proper pace of play and remind players of basic golf etiquette and rules.
• Observe weather and course conditions to ensure player safety.
• Promptly report to relevant personnel in case of emergencies.
• Provide service with a smile, show respect, and avoid overstepping boundaries or disrupting play.
• Maintain neat appearance, appropriate behavior, and follow club service standards.
• Repair ball marks, refill divots, and keep greens tidy as required.
• Help maintain cleanliness of the course, picking up trash or unattended equipment promptly.
• Check and prepare golf carts and required equipment before tee-off.
• Clean golf clubs, organize golf bags, and assist players after the round.
• Comply with directions from the Caddy Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor.
• Actively participate in training, evaluations, and team-building activities to improve service quality.
