Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Manager for glove manufacturing to oversee daily production planning, improve processes, and ensure quality with QA collaboration. You will manage frontline teams, implement SOPs, and lead ISO compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Management or Chemical Engineering, demonstrates strong leadership, and has glove manufacturing (cleanroom) experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder in Mechanical, manufacturing management or chemical engineering.
• Strong leadership and technical skills are required.
• Ability to oversee production processes efficiently.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO13485, ISO14001 & ISO45001.
• Knowledge in social compliance.
• Glove manufacturing experience, especially cleanroom, is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily chemical consumption and provide order instructions to Compounding.
• Communicate with the team and relevant parties to align with Production Line Planning Schedule.
• Set up and apply recovery or improvement plans and ensure execution of actions.
• Ensure Production team meets quality basics and liaise with QA on CARs.
• Ensure new requirements and SOP/W.I. are implemented and comply with SOPs.
• Drive manufacturing enhancements and reductions in manpower, utilities, energy, and processes.
