Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, law, or related field.
• Proficient in Mandarin (written and spoken) to communicate with clients and registries; fluency in English as well.
• Experience with local trademark administration, searching, and filing procedures.
• Familiarity with overseas/international trademark processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trademark filing and prosecution: assist in handling, coordinating, drafting, amending, and compiling trademark applications and related documents.
• Search, research and overseas coordination: conduct local and international trademark searches; liaise with overseas IP agents to coordinate filings and renewals.
• Reporting and documentation: prepare trademark reports, classification analyses, and filing documentation.
• Monitor deadlines and respond to Office Actions/objections with government IP offices.
• Administrative support: perform general admin duties and ad-hoc IP tasks as required.
