Job summary

PwC in Malaysia is seeking an Associate in Tax services to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru. You will work on advising clients on local and overseas tax matters, support strategic tax planning, and engage in multi-disciplinary projects across international tax, M&A, and regulatory processes.

The role focuses on developing technical acumen, delivering quality deliverables, and maintaining compliance while building internal relationships and the PwC brand.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW / ACCA /MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia
• Strong leadership, teamwork and client servicing skills
• Strong communication skills in English (oral & written)

Responsibilities

• Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
• Prepare deliverables
• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
• Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand
