Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Sr Manager Global Supplier Quality to own the global strategy, governance, and program for supplier quality across all sites. The role builds and leads a Center of Excellence and ensures ISO 9001-aligned supplier qualification, performance management, and audits.

The leader serves as the primary escalation point for critical supplier issues and represents Supplier Quality to leadership and Procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 10+ years in Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering in a complex manufacturing environment (electronics/lab equipment).
• 5+ years in a people-leadership role with distributed or matrix teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 13485 is a plus) and supplier-related requirements.
• Experience designing/running supplier risk-tiering, qualification, and audit programs at scale.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with Procurement, R&D, NPI, and Operations.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills for leadership and audits.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the global Supplier Quality strategy, policies, and risk-tiering across all sites.
• Lead and develop the Center of Excellence, ensuring consistent standards across sites.
• Own governance cadence: monthly reviews, quarterly supplier business reviews, annual audit plan.
• Serve as escalation owner for critical supplier quality issues, including disruptions and nonconformances.
• Partner with Procurement to integrate quality criteria into sourcing decisions and scorecards.
• Develop and own global supplier quality processes and resourcing across CoE and sites.
• Report performance, risks, and trends to leadership and during management reviews.
