Job summary

Hytech, a leading management consulting firm with a global footprint, is seeking a Finance Business Partner in Kuala Lumpur to drive financial performance and strategic insight. You will collaborate with operational teams to optimize budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Ideal candidates have strong expertise in ERP/BI tools, cross-functional collaboration, and language skills in Chinese and English to support regional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; MBA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications are highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience in financial digital transformation with ERP/BI tools to support decision-making.
• Prior experience in large technology or multinational companies is preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across functions and regions.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese & English.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with business units to provide financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insights.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, translating financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Deliver timely, data-driven financial analysis to senior management for strategic decisions.
• Conduct performance reviews, variance analyses, and profitability assessments to identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance financial systems and reporting processes.
• Drive automation and standardization of reporting through digital tools.
• Analyze markets and financial exposure, offering mitigation insights.
• Support management with scenario planning and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models for budgeting and forecasting.
• Enhance financial planning capabilities with advanced analytics.
• Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Foster governance, controls, and best practices across units.
