Holds a Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

Perform cost accounting transactions with timely, accurate close.
Execute month-end and quarter/year-end close per SOPs.
Collaborate with Local Financial Services and regional teams to ensure timely closure of accounts.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Local Services, SSC and COE.
Ensure closing timelines meet Group Corporate requirements.
Ensure SOPs are followed and variances are escalated for review.
Attend to queries promptly and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot cost accounting process issues.
Support Internal Control System documentation and audits.
Assist in project initiatives rollout by Global team.
Drive standardization across regions and globally.
Undertake ad hoc assignments and migrations as needed.
Coach and guide junior analysts; identify skill gaps and upskill the team.
Perform backup duties and support onboarding of new analysts.
