Job summary

SD Guthrie International in Ara Damansara, Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a Payroll Project Technical Lead to manage the technical aspects of the SAP Payroll implementation for a global transformation. The role requires hands-on SAP Payroll expertise, ECC to S/4HANA migration, and coordination with HR, IT, and vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing and on-time go-live across countries.

You will drive technical quality, data integrity, and regulatory compliance throughout the project

Qualifications

• 5+ years SAP Payroll implementation and support experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Payroll including PCRs, wage types, and payroll control records.
• Experience with SAP ECC Payroll and migration to SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with multi-country payroll implementations and country-specific statutory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across global payroll transformation projects.
• Review designs, configurations, and migration approaches for SAP Payroll.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, parallel runs, cutover, and go-live support.
• Ensure data integrity, interfaces, and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and partners to resolve technical issues.
