Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer in Penang to drive safety design and testing across products. You will work with internal teams, customers, and labs to ensure compliance with safety standards and certifications.

The role requires 5+ years in safety testing or multinational certification, with strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of major standards (CE, UL, FCC). Occasional travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Safety test, design, or multinational certification.
• Familiar with CE, UL, FCC and other major certifications.
• Experience with safety design of storage/server/switches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety design and testing activities for products.
• Provide guidance on safety risk assessment and design reviews.
• Specify safety test cases and verify test results.
• Coordinate with external labs for certification and approvals.
• Support customer projects on safety and certification topics.
• Travel occasionally as required.
