Job summary

Avery Dennison Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Production Planning and Inventory Control specialist to coordinate all scheduling, delivery, inventory and planning process improvements. You will drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time delivery and KPI achievement.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years of manufacturing experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production scheduling and manufacturing activities to meet external and internal customers.
• Manage and control WIP, finished goods, and slow-moving inventory to achieve KPIs.
• Resolves day-to-day issues with cross-functional teams on scheduling and delivery.
• Align with operations on production and delivery constraints and demand changes.
• Collaborate with overseas DC planners and local customer service to gather orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Review and confirm delivery dates for Non-Asean countries and drop shipments.
• Manage demand and supply based on capacity planning for all machines.
• Maintain campaign schedule model and product family to optimize changeovers.
• Support new development projects and ensure smooth transition.
• Analyze data and decide on unforeseen issues with contingencies.
• Raise concerns and propose solutions to supervisor.
• Maintain item data, records and prepare reports.
