Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Analyst II to support Global Business Services in optimizing procure-to-pay processes and vendor management. You will assist the Team Leader to coach the procurement operations team and drive data-driven improvements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, SAP & Coupa experience, and excellent Excel/PowerPoint capabilities. Mandarin language ability is a plus, and you’ll work in a dynamic, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Engineering or related fields.
• A minimum of 7 years of commercial, purchasing and reporting experience. Preferably with shared services or global environment
• Knowledge of Procure-To-Pay end to end processes preferred
• Highly organized with strong troubleshooting, decision-making and interpersonal skills
• Work independently with minimum guidance
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and data maintenance skills
• Software proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot / Vlookup / Formulas), MS PowerPoint
• SAP & Coupa system experience is highly desirable
• Enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive for results
• Ability to handle complexity, ambiguity and simplify opportunities
• Proactive and able to work under pressure and independently
• Flexibility to adapt to changing reporting requirements
• Experience in Production Planning Procurement
• Ability to speak, read and write Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Leader to lead, coach, develop and appraise Procurement Operation Team.
• Lead on procurement self audit and ensure data accuracy.
• Quarterly review and propose Procurement SOP updates per regional/global procedures.
• Challenge existing procurement processes and recommend standardization improvements.
• Serve as escalation point for stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide timely analysis and resolution on contract/vendor management, orders, and system functionality.
• Develop plans to resolve stakeholder queries on operation processes
• Consult with stakeholders, vendors, and SMEs to plan process enhancements and technical solutions
• Design and create training material for Procurement Processes
• Execute and validate purchase orders and ensure compliance with policies
• Provide updates on purchase orders, contracts and vendor master records; meet SLA
• Generate SAP reports and coordinate with suppliers on PO status
• Review OPEN Aging PO reports monthly and coordinate closures
• Collaborate with Blocked Invoices Team to resolve invoice issues
• Assist in any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
