Job summary

Huntsman Corporation is seeking a Project Management Intern in Kuala Lumpur to support a Project Manager on global improvement, automation, analytics, and process transformation initiatives.

The intern will assist in planning, coordination, tracking, and communication of ongoing projects within the GBS organization, working with stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to ensure deliverables are organized and followed up effectively.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a University Degree, ideally in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrated project coordination skills through academic or extracurricular experience (e.g., organizing university projects, events, group work).
• Strong presentation skills would be an added advantage.
• Proactive, well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in an international business environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Available to commit for 6 months internship duration and at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in coordinating project activities, timelines, meetings, and follow-ups.
• Help maintain project plans, action logs, risk and issue trackers, meeting notes, and status updates.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, presentations, business review materials, and stakeholder communications.
• Track project progress, milestones, dependencies, and open actions to support timely delivery.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to gather updates and clarify next steps.
• Support meeting preparation by preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and following up on agreed actions.
• Assist with project reporting, including status summaries, dashboards, and progress updates.
• Learn and apply basic project management practices, tools, and methodologies in a global business environment.
