bp is seeking a senior professional to join our global Operational Risk team. You will shape and steward risk governance, turning data into insights and guiding decision-making across the organization.

This hybrid role emphasizes analytics, training, and ongoing risk improvements to support sustainable growth. You will work with senior leaders to drive change, enhance risk awareness, and deliver actionable reports and training materials that elevate bp's risk management culture across functions

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in operational risk, or a related field, with track record of driving change.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence across levels.
• Strong data analysis with PowerBI and PowerPoint skills.
• Strategic mindset with practical problem-solving.
• Strong collaboration across organisational boundaries.
• Proficiency in operational risk management tools is a plus.
• Curious, proactive and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Shape strategic operational risk insights for senior leadership.
• Develop and improve operational risk processes and controls.
• Be custodian of data quality in the risk system.
• Translate data analysis into compelling narratives with impact.
• Create training materials and deliver training on Operational Risk.
• Promote risk awareness and drive behavioural change.
