Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of mobile applications. You will drive business value by translating requirements into user stories, defining success metrics, and coordinating with engineering, UX, and stakeholders across the global organization.

The role requires a strong technical background in mobile development, a track record of delivering mobile products in production, and the ability to work across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, BIS, or related field.
• 7–10 years in Product Ownership/Management or related areas.
• Proven mobile app product delivery experience.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture and APIs.
• Experience with cross-functional, globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for mobile apps.
• Gather, prioritize requirements and translate to user stories and backlog items.
• Define objectives, KPIs, and expected business outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end mobile product development from discovery to release.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture on scalable, high-performing solutions.
• Manage backlog and support Agile ceremonies.
