Job summary

Mercedes-Benz is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, delivery, and continuous enhancement of mobile applications. The role requires a strong blend of product ownership and technical background to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and drive business value.

You will define the vision, prioritise backlog, and oversee end-to-end mobile product development from discovery to release, ensuring security, performance, and UX excellence across iOS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, software delivery, or related areas.
• Proven experience managing and delivering mobile application products.
• Strong technical understanding of mobile architecture, development lifecycle, APIs, integration, security, performance, and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for mobile applications.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business, customer, and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, product backlogs, and functional requirements.
• Define product objectives, success metrics, KPIs, and expected business outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end mobile product development from discovery through production release and optimization.
• Ensure adherence to mobile development best practices, usability standards, platform guidelines, security, performance, and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
• Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify enhancement opportunities
• Act as the key liaison across business, development, UX/UI, operations, and external partners.
• Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions with local and global stakeholders.
• Manage expectations, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog and support Agile ceremonies.
