Job summary

Lyra Health in Melaka, Malaysia is seeking an Associate to deliver counseling and therapy sessions in-person or virtually, following Lyra’s clinical standards. You will manage referrals, schedule sessions, and maintain timely documentation to ensure a high standard of care in a private workspace.

Candidates must be a Registered Counselor or a MAHPC-registered Clinical Psychologist, with strong English and professional ethics, able to work independently while coordinating with a remote care team.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Counselor with the Malaysian Board of Counselors (Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia) or a MAHPC-registered Clinical Psychologist.
• Experience in providing counselling or therapy services.
• Must have a safe, private, and professional space for in-person sessions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
• Fluency in English; additional local languages are an advantage.
• Comfortable using digital tools/platforms for sessions and case management.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling/therapy sessions to clients (in-person and virtual).
• Manage client referrals and session scheduling.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with Lyra’s care and operations team to support service delivery.
