Job summary

UCT is seeking a Materials Program Manager II in Malaysia to drive material readiness and ensure smooth program execution across the full product lifecycle. You will partner with planning, production, engineering and supply chain teams to identify risks, manage critical parts, and optimize material strategies through sourcing, mitigation and inventory programs.

This role requires cross‑functional leadership, strong communication, and the ability to escalate shortages and drive corrective actions

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Strong purchasing experience in commodity management with customer interaction.
• Willing to collaborate with US counterparts and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SAP and Agile tooling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material readiness and resolve shortages to support programs.
• Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
• Lead cross-functional teams for supplier roadmaps and risk mitigation.
• Develop and execute material strategies including VMI/JIT concepts.
