Job summary

Shanp Deng Enterprise (Asia) Sdn Bhd, based in Malaysia, seeks a dedicated Purchasing/Planning professional to prepare and monitor production schedules, manage manufacturing orders, and coordinate import/purchasing activities with suppliers.

The role requires a degree in a related field, at least 1 year of experience, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills to liaise with suppliers and forwarders on import/export shipments and customs matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with experience in purchasing/planning.
• Engineering or Science degree may be preferred, provided they demonstrate strong adaptability and the ability to quickly understand and apply business-related knowledge
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar function

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor production schedules to ensure production deadlines are met
• Manufacturing orders
• Material preparation planning
• Monitor import and purchasing schedules, issue Purchase Orders, and communicate with suppliers
• Coordinate with forwarding agencies on import/export shipments, customs matters, and permit applications
• Coordinate shipment deliveries and prepare necessary documents for customs clearance
