Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Material Planning Specialist to oversee project material management plans and ensure on-time delivery against engineering timelines.

You will partner with project management and technical teams to align procurement with release dates, manage pre-order readiness, tracking, expediting, and coordinate inbound logistics, customs clearance, and warehouse staging while monitoring supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in material planning, production control, or project supply chain.
• Experience in energy, chemicals, or automation sectors.
• Experience with tier-1 ERP systems, BOM management, and inventory tracking.
• Strong expediting and international logistics coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project material management plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate procurement schedules with engineering release dates.
• Manage pre-order readiness, tracking, and post-order expediting.
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics, customs clearance, and warehouse staging.
• Track vendor delivery performance and assess operation risks.
