Michael Holmes Resources in Penang is seeking a Logistics Planning Manager to lead end-to-end planning for defined product areas within a global manufacturing context.

You will manage demand forecasting, material and production planning, and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to keep supply reliable and inventory lean. Framing improvements and developing the planning team are key aspects of the role.

Competenze

• 5+ years of logistics planning experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge.
• MBA is an advantage (optional).

Mansioni

• Forecast demand and capacity across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons.
• Coordinate material ordering with internal and external suppliers.
• Oversee production planning and capacity against manufacturing schedules.
• Support new product launches including part setup and supplier onboarding.
• Maintain planning master data accuracy (part status, MRP parameters).
• Lead or contribute to NPI and IT/process improvement initiatives.
• Coach, mentor, and develop planning team members.
• Report planning KPIs (inventory, service levels, backlog).
