Job summary

PSA BDP, part of the PSA Group, seeks a detail-oriented logistics support professional to process orders, register jobs, and handle documentation in Meridian. The role involves ensuring accurate data entry, maintaining records, and coordinating with customs to comply with export/import regulations.

Ideal candidates will have a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics and 1–3 years in freight forwarding, with the ability to multitask and work with team leaders, including after-hours monitoring

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience in freight forwarding, preferably export department.
• Ability to multitask and stay late if needed.
• Team player able to follow team lead’s instructions and monitor status after hours.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and create jobs in the system accurately.
• Receive and verify customer shipping instructions and documents.
• Open and register jobs in Meridian; ensure correct data entry.
• Maintain filing and documentation records for shipments.
• Prepare and declare customs forms per regulatory requirements.
• Submit declarations and track status until approval.
• Liaise with customs authorities or brokers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Monitor port and container movement; coordinate with transporters and warehouse teams.
• Support billing and administrative processes; assist in job closing.
