Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Global Liabilities & Prepaid Associate Accountant to manage liabilities and prepaid accounting within our shared services setup. You will engage with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to US GAAP, and proactive process improvements across regional and global teams. Travel may be required as part of international coordination.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in multinational environment and/or audit.
• Good knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong reporting tools exposure (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prepare manual journals with supporting documentation.
• Complete reconciliations in Blackline per deadlines.
• Respond to queries from local country finance.
• Provide audit support as needed.
• Support regional and global reporting (Balance Sheet & P&L flux).
• Support month-end/quarter-end/annual close processes.
• Ensure processes comply with company policies and audits.
• Assist local, regional, and global projects.
• Identify and drive continuous process improvements.
