Job summary

Confidential in Petaling Jaya seeks an experienced IT leader to steer global infrastructure and cloud strategy. You will guide distributed teams, manage enterprise IT projects, and drive security, IAM, and Zero Trust initiatives across regions.

You will oversee vendor relations, budgeting, and cross-border collaborations with the Japan HQ, ensuring compliance with ISO27001 and GDPR-aligned standards. Strong communication in English is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Architecture or Enterprise IT operations with 3+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience leading distributed teams and promoting knowledge sharing.
• Proven track record in multi-region IT projects from scoping to deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall; formal certifications preferred.
• Solid cloud experience (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Deep enterprise networking, IAM/SSO, Zero Trust implementations.
• Experience with ERP/SaaS migrations and global vendor management.
• Financial acumen for IT budgeting and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor globally distributed IT teams to align on KPIs and goals.
• Oversee service desks, hardware support, and VIP IT coordination.
• Drive Zero Trust, MFA, IAM audits, and Shadow IT elimination.
• Direct major software migrations and SaaS integrations (O365, Entra ID).
• Manage end-to-end multi-region IT projects and budgets.
• Standardize AWS/Azure architectures and optimize regional networking.
• Coordinate with Japan HQ on security baselines and ISO27001.
