Job summary

BD is seeking a Senior Intercompany Reconciliation Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead the regional reconciliation and intercompany processes. You will oversee the IC team, ensure timely and accurate reconciliations, and guarantee compliance with IFRS/GAAP while coordinating with the Global Process Owner.

You will drive process improvements, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with regional stakeholders and BPO partners to deliver high-quality financial reporting and month-end close.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP and statutory principles.
• Proficient in financial analysis, reconciliation and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for reconciliation and intercompany processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation and IC transactions.
• Review and approve intercompany deliverables and month-end close.
• Develop and maintain standardized intercompany procedures.
• Monitor KPIs related to intercompany performance.
• Identify process improvements with GPO and drive standardization.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
