Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks an experienced procurement leader to drive HR category management, focusing on sourcing strategies, vendor management, risk governance and sustainable commercial outcomes. You will engage stakeholders across business functions and broker favorable contracts while aligning with Group policies and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes end-to-end vendor onboarding, TPRM, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver long-term value for the bank and its stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Law.
• English language is mandatory.
• Experience in financial services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement across assigned business functions with clear sourcing strategies.
• Own end-to-end onboarding of vendors and manage risk in collaboration with relevant functions.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure commercial, scalable outcomes.
• Develop and implement category strategies for HR procurement in line with Bank policies.
• Support and drive sustainability, governance and regulatory compliance in supplier management.
