HYRED in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a proactive Category & Supplier Development professional. You will drive product sourcing, negotiate favorable terms, and manage supplier relationships across China to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

The role requires experience in category management, procurement or product development, and willingness to travel to China when required. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred for supplier communications.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in business, supply chain, procurement or related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin preferred for supplier communication.
• Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify suitable products and market opportunities.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, especially in China.
• Source products meeting specs, quality, budget and timeline.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate product customization, samples, specs, packaging and production.
• Evaluate quotations and improve cost efficiency.
• Assess supplier capabilities, quality, reliability and delivery.
• Monitor market trends and new opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to track production and ensure delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet supplier expectations.
