Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to join the GFS Commercial FP&A team in Malaysia. The role focuses on day-to-day finance activities including month-end close, reporting, planning and forecasting for the AZ Commercial Organisation, collaborating with Commercial FP&A, Controlling and global teams.

You will deliver robust financial information with insightful commentary, highlight risks and opportunities, and support governance and standardisation across processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting / controlling / FP&A experience
• English language proficiency, both verbal and written
• Experience of change management and building engagement
• Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
• Cross-boundary experience, including remote and cross-cultural collaboration

Responsibilities

• Month end close activities with robust, quality financial information for business teams
• Interpret financial data to deliver variance analysis and insightful commentary
• Proactive interaction with stakeholders for forecasting updates
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to identify risks and opportunities in forecasting
• Support governance standards and drive standardisation across processes
