Job summary

Beam Mobility Malaysia Sdn Bhd, part of Neuron Mobility Holdings, is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join the global finance team. You will manage a portfolio of entities, oversee month-end close, intercompany billing, fixed assets, and financial reporting to support growth across multiple markets.

Reporting to Regional controller, you will partner with cross-functional teams, drive cost optimization, ensure IFRS compliance, and liaise with auditors.

Qualifications

• CPA or ACCA or equivalent certification.
• Big 4 background preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a range of finance and accounting duties for a portfolio of entities.
• Manage and monitor group inventories, ensuring accurate recording, valuation, and reporting.
• Assist with month end close transactions and driving efficiencies with the month end close process.
• Perform ad-hoc vendor payments where necessary.
• Coordinate intercompany billing process and reconcile intercompany accounts to ensure proper allocation and reporting across entities.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner, providing financial insights, analysis, and support in driving operational efficiency and cost optimization.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets records, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and impairment assessments.
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve internal controls, and enhance financial reporting accuracy.
• Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and variance explanations to management
• Collating and preparing periodic management accounts and other reporting packs.
• Group consolidation, internal and external reporting
• Manage tax and audit obligations. Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and support the timely resolution of audit queries and findings.
• Ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned by management.
