Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a director-level leader to establish and lead test hardware manufacturing enablement and production deployment within the Test Solutions Technology organization.

The role partners with Hardware Development, Test Engineering, Supply Chain, QA, OSATs, and suppliers to ramp NPIs and ensure production readiness. Candidates should master cross-functional collaboration and executive communication.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in semiconductor test hardware and manufacturing enablement.
• Experience leading distributed engineering, manufacturing, or operations teams.
• Experience taking semiconductor hardware from development through production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a geographically distributed engineering and manufacturing-enabled team across AMD sites.
• Define roles, priorities, and performance expectations for the global team.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to enable production deployment and management of the test equipment fleet across OSAT locations.
• Interface with OSATs to define and monitor KPIs for production-ready test solutions.
• Identify and mitigate test challenges and drive large projects on schedule and budget.
• Develop talent and provide coaching, succession planning, and resource deployment across priorities.
• Drive improvements in equipment features, software, tools, and processes for availability and efficiency.
