Job summary

Evonik in Selangor, Malaysia, is hiring an Analyst for Cost Accounting to support daily/monthly close processes and data accuracy. You will work with Local Financial Services and cross-functional teams across regions to ensure timely and precise financial closures.

Requirements include a degree in Accounting or Finance, 2–3 years of cost accounting experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with SAP and IFRS knowledge. Knowledge of SAP and MS Office is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in cost accounting or SSC environments.
• Strong English communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cost Accounting transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close per SOPs.
• Collaborate with Local Financial Services and other teams to ensure timely closure.
