Job summary

AFFIN BANK in Labuan seeks an experienced Team Lead / SRM, LCO to originate, obtain approvals and manage offshore corporate banking relationships booked through LCO. The role emphasises FCY lending, cross‑border financing and structured transactions while maintaining credit quality, compliance and profitability.

You will lead multi‑BU collaboration, prepare high‑quality credit proposals, monitor covenant compliance and portfolio performance, and work to drive revenue through margins and fees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Structured Finance, Syndication, or Commercial Banking.
• Proven experience in managing corporate/institutional clients and FCY loans, syndicated facilities and cross-border financing.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial assessment, credit proposal writing, and portfolio management.
• Familiarity with corporate banking products, structured finance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong business development, client relationship management, negotiation, and deal structuring skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Willing to travel to Labuan for meetings; Must be Labuan locals.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the LCO Task Force to support execution readiness and FCY booking governance.
• Originate and manage offshore corporate and institutional clients; structure FCY loans and facilities.
• Coordinate deal structuring and credit submissions across originating BUs and LCO.
• Prepare high‑quality credit proposals, annual reviews and transaction papers; monitor covenant compliance.
• Drive revenue through lending margins, fees, syndication income and cross‑selling opportunities.
